About the role#
Ramp is an engineering-focused company. We are looking for frontend engineering interns to build intuitive, high-quality products that solve complex problems for our customers. You will work within a stack that includes TypeScript, React, Vite, and our in-house design system, Ryu.
What you'll do#
- Build performant and intuitive interfaces for businesses with complex needs.
- Own meaningful projects and ship products alongside cross-functional teams.
- Work with product, design, and business teams to turn customer feedback into product improvements.
- Contribute to the tools, systems, and engineering practices that help Ramp scale.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, graduating December 2027 or later.
- Strong JavaScript fundamentals.
- Attention to visual and product details.
- Experience with one or more programming languages.
- A track record of shipping high-quality products, features, or side projects.
- Ability to turn product and business ideas into engineering solutions.
- A desire to learn quickly and take ownership.
- Experience with React is preferred.
- Familiarity with or interest in TypeScript and modern frontend development is preferred.
- Interest in fintech, AI, or building products at scale is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role based in New York City, New York.
- The internship is full-time and follows a rolling schedule.
- Compensation is $12,500 per month plus a housing stipend.
