About the role#
The Hardware Global Supply Management team manages sourcing for custom silicon and electronic components. You will work on high-complexity commercial projects that combine engineering architecture with business strategy. This internship provides an opportunity to work with industry leaders on projects that impact our hardware sourcing and automation efforts.
What you'll do#
- Perform should-cost modeling and component teardown analysis.
- Standardize RFP/RFQ process documentation and templates.
- Build automation tools to assist with feedback ingestion and analysis.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a BS or MS program in Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related technical field.
- Understanding of semiconductor fabrication, packaging, and component lifecycles.
- Proficiency in Python scripting, AI prompting, and agentic automation frameworks.
- Experience with bottom-up should-cost modeling, Total Cost of Ownership analysis, and large-scale financial analytics in Excel or Sheets.
- Ability to collaborate with engineering teams on commercial negotiations and component selection.
- Experience building prototype or NPI pipelines with validation logging.
- Strong communication skills to synthesize technical tradeoffs into executive summaries.

- Compensation: $60 per hour for Bachelor's students and $70 per hour for Master's students.
