About the role#
This is a 12-week internship program for students graduating between December 2028 and August 2029. You will work within technology teams to support software lifecycle activities and learn secure coding practices. The program includes mentorship, professional workshops, and a final presentation to leadership.
What you'll do#
- Design, code, and test software solutions for routing digital currency transactions.
- Deploy Kafka clusters using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop a natural language chatbot for knowledge base searches.
- Prototype solutions for automated payments at gas stations.
- Build visual monitoring tools to detect transactional issues.
- Create testing tools to identify system errors.
- Develop an app factory for mobile banking applications.
- Automate processes using low latency algorithms.
- Enhance the usability of Visa Checkout across platforms.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS/MIS, Cybersecurity, or Business.
- Proficiency in one or more languages including Java, C/C++, C#.NET, Python, JavaScript, or HTML.
- Experience with automation and testing tools such as Selenium, REST, or Groovy.
- Understanding of software engineering concepts, methodologies, and testing principles.
- Ability to document processes, perform analysis, and handle ambiguity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and a focus on achieving results.

- Location: Bellevue, Washington.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (minimum 3 days in office).
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship.
