About the role#
The Associate Product Manager (APM) Internship at Visa immerses you in the world of product management within global payments and technology. You will work on high-impact initiatives while partnering with experienced product managers and cross-functional teams. Throughout the summer, you will build foundational skills, gain hands-on experience in product execution, and receive structured support and mentorship. You will also participate in exclusive learning sessions and present your work to product leadership at the end of the term.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of product strategies, customer problem statements, and business cases.
- Assist with product roadmaps, requirements documentation, and prioritization.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and user needs.
- Partner with designers and engineers to ideate, build, test, and iterate on product concepts.
- Collaborate with product marketing and regional teams to support product launches and adoption.
- Participate in learning and development sessions and present findings to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Operations Management, Communications, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional collaborative environments.
- Technical fluency, including knowledge of programming languages, data analysis, business modeling, or design.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology.
- Digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, self-starting approach, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Previous internship or related work experience is a plus.

- Employment Type: Full time.
- Compensation: $39 to $46 per hour.
- Travel: 5-10% of the time.
