About the role#
The Associate Product Manager (APM) Internship immerses you in product management within the global payments and technology sector. You will work on high-impact initiatives while partnering with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, Sales, Strategy, Finance, and Marketing teams. Throughout the summer, you will build foundational skills, deepen your understanding of Visa platforms, and gain experience taking ideas from concept to execution. You will also participate in learning sessions with senior product leaders and present your work to leadership at the end of the program.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of product strategies, customer problem statements, and business cases.
- Assist with product roadmaps, requirements documentation, and prioritization.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and user needs.
- Partner with designers and engineers to ideate, build, test, and iterate on product concepts.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and regional teams to support product launches and adoption.
- Participate in learning and development sessions.
- Present work and learnings to Product leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Operations Management, Communications, or a related design field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in team environments.
- Preferred: A degree in Product Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field.
- Preferred: Prior internship or related work experience.
- Preferred: Experience with Agile methodology, data analysis, and technical fluency in programming or business modeling.
- Preferred: An entrepreneurial, self-starting mindset with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

- Compensation: $46 to $55 per hour.
