About the role#
The Associate Product Manager Internship at Visa immerses you in the world of product management within global payments and technology. You will work on high-impact initiatives while partnering with experienced product managers and cross-functional teams across engineering, design, sales, and marketing. This program provides structured support, mentorship, and feedback to help you build foundational skills and gain hands-on experience from concept to execution. At the end of the summer, you will present your work and learnings to product leadership.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of product strategies, customer problem statements, and business cases.
- Assist with product roadmaps, requirements documentation, and prioritization.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and user needs.
- Partner with designers and engineers to ideate, build, test, and iterate on product concepts.
- Collaborate with product marketing and regional teams to support product launches and adoption.
- Participate in exclusive learning and development sessions.
- Present your work and findings to product leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Operations Management, Communications, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly.
- Experience working in cross-functional collaborative environments.
- Knowledge of or experience with Agile methodology.
- Technical fluency, including experience with data analysis, business modeling, or programming languages.
- A self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to build productive relationships and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
