About the role#
This internship is a 10 to 12 week program designed to provide students with corporate experience and preparation for a career in the industry. You will focus on researching electric utility metering trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies. The goal is to identify product opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to support future electric meter innovation and growth.
What you'll do#
- Apply classroom knowledge to real projects.
- Research electric utility metering trends and emerging technologies.
- Identify product opportunities and offer strategic recommendations.
- Develop technical skills relevant to your major.
- Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks while working independently.
- Assist with process improvement.
- Build professional relationships across different areas of the business.
- Provide support and assistance to co-workers.
- Deliver a final presentation to the local management team.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship period.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, research, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Interest in product management, technology, and the electric utility industry.
- Market research experience is preferred.
- A self-motivated and curious approach to working in a collaborative environment.
