About the role#
As a Business Intelligence Intern at Park National Bank, you will join our team in Newark to help manage data backlogs and support project delivery. You will work alongside BI engineers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to turn business needs into technical solutions. This role is a chance to learn about our bank culture while gaining hands-on experience with data tools and project management.
What you'll do#
- Manage BI team backlogs and prioritize tasks based on business line needs.
- Build dashboards using Tableau, SSRS, and Cognos.
- Translate business requirements into technical language for project delivery.
- Facilitate meetings and remove obstacles for project teams.
- Document processes and maintain the data catalog.
- Present project results to teams and leadership.
- Network with associates and executives across the organization.
- Complete required training and follow bank compliance and risk management policies.
- Deliver service that meets our internal Service Excellence standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Administration.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Awareness of SQL and Python.
- Ability to learn about our brand and department operations.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Newark, Ohio.
- This is a part-time, paid internship.
- Scheduling is rolling and typically follows a Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00 schedule.
