About the role#
The Test Engineering Intern supports the reliability testing of engineering prototypes. You will help ensure our equipment meets performance standards by performing instrumented and cyclic tests. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based on-site in Pella, Iowa.
What you'll do#
- Plan, coordinate, and implement testing and instrumentation procedures.
- Perform instrumented and cyclic tests to confirm prototype reliability.
- Fabricate, disassemble, and reassemble test parts.
- Inspect components for defects and adherence to specifications.
- Document test results and procedures accurately.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- High School diploma.
- Proficiency with tools including a scope, soldering station, drill press, hand drill, hand tools, and VOM meter.
- Ability to create professional, accurate documentation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with other departments.
