About the role#
As an IT Data Engineer Intern, you will assist in developing and validating data integration solutions. You will work within the team to align project requirements with product delivery. This is a full-time, paid position based at our corporate office in Pella, Iowa.
What you'll do#
- Analyze ETL techniques to ensure data accuracy.
- Work with integration developers to design and verify solutions using Agile methodology.
- Follow security standards for all data, including personally identifiable information.
- Maintain data integrity according to business requirements.
- Test and diagnose integrations to find and fix defects.
- Join project planning sessions to review functional specifications and requirements.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma.
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Informatics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of relational databases, SQL queries, and data modeling.
- Ability to validate data from web services and integration technologies like REST, XML, JSON, and SOAP.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A previous internship is helpful but not required.
