About the role#
As a Component Engineer Intern, you will assist in the development and validation of data integration solutions. You will work to understand business requirements and align them with integration product delivery. This role requires a resourceful student who learns quickly and works well within an Agile environment.
What you'll do#
- Analyze ETL techniques for accuracy during data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
- Collaborate with integration developers to design and verify solutions based on business requirements.
- Participate in project planning sessions and review functional specifications.
- Maintain data security and integrity by following established best practices, including the handling of personally identifiable data.
- Test and diagnose integrations to identify and resolve defects.
What you'll need#
- High School diploma.
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Informatics, or a related field.
- Experience validating data from web services and integration technologies like REST, XML/JSON, SOAP, and ETL.
- Knowledge of relational databases, SQL queries, and data modeling.
- Strong attention to detail.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, rolling internship.
- The position is based on-site in Pella, Iowa.
- No travel is required for this role.
