About the role#
Ancient Crunch Inc. is looking for an Electrical Engineering intern to join our team in Hackettstown. You will work directly with the equipment and systems that keep our production lines running safely, reliably, and efficiently. This role offers hands-on experience in a food manufacturing environment as we expand our production capacity and invest in automation, controls, and instrumentation.
What you'll do#
- Work with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, motors, control panels, instrumentation, and conveyors.
- Help integrate new machinery into the manufacturing environment.
- Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues directly on the factory floor.
- Improve equipment reliability.
- Identify opportunities to automate processes and increase throughput.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an Electrical Engineering program.
- Ability to think outside of the box.
- A detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Adaptability in a changing environment.
- Ability to take ownership of your work.
- Readiness to roll up your sleeves.
