About the role#
We are looking for a Food Science Intern to join our team in Hackettstown. This is a full-time, paid position where you will work on the ground level of food manufacturing. You will gain direct experience with the complexities of producing snacks using traditional methods and real ingredients.
What you'll do#
- Work across R&D, formulation, sensory evaluation, and shelf-life testing.
- Analyze moisture, texture, and ingredient functionality.
- Study how changes in ingredients or processing impact the final product.
- Translate lab findings into full-scale manufacturing by working with the production team.
- Develop and test new product ideas.
- Troubleshoot batch performance issues and improve consistency across production runs.
What you'll need#

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail.
