About the role#
As an Internal Audit Intern, you will support the audit team by examining financial results and performance reports. You will help execute risk-based audits and identify ways to strengthen internal controls. We are looking for a critical thinker who can determine root causes and communicate complex ideas clearly.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to find trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Investigate discrepancies and anomalies to find underlying issues.
- Document internal control weaknesses and test results.
- Map business processes using flowcharts and narratives.
- Assist in the execution of risk-based audits.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of business and analytic systems.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation systems.
- Experience using Power BI for data analytics.
- A self-driven approach and a strong sense of curiosity.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Pella, Iowa.
- The role follows a hybrid work model.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
- No travel is required for this position.
