About the role#
The Research and Development (R&D) Intern will support the analytical group with bench top chemistry testing. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Lexington, Kentucky, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Perform bench top testing for engine oils using ASTM methods.
- Follow Valvoline RC 14001 safety rules and ISO 9001 quality practices.
- Use the VLIMS system to collect and record data.
- Analyze data and communicate findings with fleet stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related Engineering college program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills and a teamwork mentality.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
