About the role#
This internship focuses on Technical Services and Field Testing within the Research and Development department. You will work with the team to correlate application performance with fluid analysis parameters. This role involves direct interaction with data that supports new product development, industry approvals, and support for original equipment manufacturers.
What you'll do#
- Analyze used oil data based on vehicle type, asset type, duty cycle, and application.
- Assist with field test projects for lubricants including engine oil, transmission oil, and gear oil.
- Participate in hands-on engine inspections.
- Perform data analysis and share findings with engineers and scientists.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Data Science, or Computer Engineering program.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Mechanical knowledge and data analysis skills are preferred.
