About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Lexington, Kentucky. You will work with the Technical Services and Field Test team to correlate application performance with fluid analysis parameters. This role involves direct interaction with fluid formulators, marketing, and sales groups.
What you'll do#
- Analyze used oil data based on vehicle type, asset type, and duty cycle.
- Assist with field test projects for lubricants to secure industry approvals and support performance claims.
- Participate in engine inspections.
- Perform data analysis and share your findings with engineers and scientists.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Data Science, or Computer Engineering program.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs occasionally.
- Good communication skills and a teamwork mentality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Mechanical knowledge and data analysis skills are preferred.
