About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in test engineering for urban transit systems. You will work with our team to support the development, implementation, and improvement of test processes for our production environments. This is a paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Ensure implementation of assigned actions per the manufacturing action plan.
- Work with test and IT resources to keep test software and data systems running correctly.
- Communicate technical issues to the R&D department.
- Submit forms and markups for documentation updates.
- Support the analysis and improvement of production test yields.
- Help transfer test processes across the supply chain.
- Assist in defining test requirements and creating test processes for new products.
- Implement new test processes and tools as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 360 applications.
- Basic understanding of software writing and editing.
- Ability to anticipate problems and apply troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of electronics and the ability to analyze electrical schematics.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use common tools.
- Fluency in English.

- Location: Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina.
- Work Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Employment Type: Full-time.
