About the role#
The HR Intern for HR Business Partnership supports the Global Corporate HR team in delivering people strategies, programs, and solutions. This role provides hands-on exposure to the HR Business Partner function through project-based and day-to-day assignments. You will report to the Senior HR Manager and gain experience across the employee lifecycle while connecting business needs with people solutions.
What you'll do#
- Support HR Business Partners and Centers of Expertise with talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and performance management.
- Gather, organize, and analyze workforce data to assist with reporting on headcount, turnover, and other key metrics.
- Prepare presentations, meeting materials, trackers, and communications for HR and business stakeholders.
- Assist with talent reviews, succession planning, goal setting, and development planning.
- Support employee engagement surveys, listening activities, and action planning by identifying themes and trends in feedback.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, tools, and the overall employee experience.
- Research HR practices and assist in the implementation of HR programs and projects.
- Track talent and performance-related actions while maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in Human Resources, particularly HR Business Partnership, is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while managing multiple assignments.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
- Sound judgment and the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Previous experience demonstrating collaboration, organization, or problem-solving is preferred.
