About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the financial services sector. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and a dedicated mentor to support team objectives. The program includes professional development, networking opportunities, and team-based projects. This is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2027 term, running from June 2, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions for production environments.
- Implement and optimize machine learning and generative AI models.
- Build scalable AI pipelines, APIs, and automation workflows.
- Collaborate with data scientists, model owners, data engineers, and product teams to integrate AI into business applications.
- Monitor model performance to improve accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Anticipated graduation date between September 2027 and May 2028.
- Foundational knowledge of Python, ML frameworks, Large Language Models, prompt engineering, and SQL.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through projects, student organizations, or employment.
- Ability to work on-site in Plano, Texas.
