About the role#
USAA is seeking a Digital Technical Product Management Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time internship is based at our corporate headquarters in San Antonio. You will work with our digital team to help shape products ranging from our mobile app to chat bot technologies.
What you'll do#
- Empathize with end-users to find the fastest path to deliver value.
- Translate business goals and user needs into a clear product vision.
- Communicate priorities to development teams, matrixed teams, and third-party partners.
- Identify goals, metrics, and analytics to measure product value.
- Manage and groom the product backlog, refining it based on ongoing learnings.
- Monitor research and competitive trends to recommend product solutions.
- Balance user needs with business goals to drive new products and improve efficiency.
- Work with design partners to test and refine assumptions through user research.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth delivery and execution.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Graduation date must be after August 13, 2027.
- Strong analytical skills.
- A passion for user-centric product design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A proactive attitude and a desire to learn.
