About the role#
As an Internal Audit Analytics Intern, you will join the Internal Audit Data Analytics Team for a 12-week program during Summer 2027. You will support data-driven testing of controls across global technology infrastructure and crypto-native products. Your work involves extracting, analyzing, and validating datasets to assess control design and operational effectiveness.
What you'll do#
- Write SQL queries against Snowflake and other internal data platforms to assess internal controls.
- Build continuous auditing processes and AI tooling for use throughout the department.
- Test system and model changes by validating compliance and performance impact.
- Document results for relevant stakeholders.
- Produce data extracts and reports from various sources.
- Translate audit data requests into clear, actionable requirements and outputs.
- Validate data ETL processes from upstream production systems into the data repository and enterprise tools.
- Check for completeness and accuracy of data at each stage.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated SQL proficiency with experience writing queries and working with large datasets.
- Familiarity with data ETL concepts.
- Experience presenting data findings to non-technical audiences through reports, presentations, or project deliverables.
- Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly with human oversight.
