About the role#
As a Tax Information Reporting Intern, you will join the Tax team within Finance for a 12-week program during Summer 2027. You will support the day-to-day operations of the global tax information reporting and withholding function. This team builds tax protocols for digital asset transactions and ensures compliance across all jurisdictions. You will collaborate with Tax, Product, Platform, and Data teams to drive reporting accuracy and contribute to process improvements.
What you'll do#
- Analyze federal and international tax regulations to map tax laws into transaction systems.
- Audit reporting inputs by working with large transaction datasets to spot inconsistencies and discrepancies.
- Support the operational preparation, quality assurance, and filing execution for US information returns and international AEOI frameworks.
- Partner with Tax, Engineering, and Product teams to design and implement AI-driven solutions and automated workflows.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in tax rules, regulatory frameworks, and compliance in the financial or tech sector.
- Current pursuit of a degree or certificate in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with a demonstrated ability to manipulate, validate, and analyze large datasets.
- Experience performing data quality checks or reconciliations through coursework, projects, or prior internships.
- Familiarity with SQL, Snowflake, Looker, or similar analytics tools.
- Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly while maintaining human oversight.
