About the role#
The Investment Business Advisor Internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the Life Co organization. You will work under direct supervision to support investment operations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to business solutions. This is a full-time, paid summer internship designed to help you build professional skills while working alongside experienced mentors.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and implement business initiatives.
- Support project prioritization and manage resource utilization.
- Assist with risk mitigation and monitor changes to the regulatory environment.
- Research and administer business rules, procedures, and contracts.
- Partner with process owners to build business cases and develop test strategies.
- Execute tests, prioritize defects, and resolve issues.
- Monitor operational and market performance policies.
- Prepare trend analyses and track business activities to ensure risks are identified and controlled.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Management, Economics, Accounting, Data Analytics, or Risk Management.
- Expected graduation date between August 2027 and June 2028.
- Knowledge of investment products such as mutual funds, brokerage, and retirement products.
- Ability to follow established procedures and apply business rules.
- Basic proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
