About the role#
We are seeking a High Yield Credit Research Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside credit analysts conducting fundamental research within the US high yield corporate bond market. This role provides exposure to the investment process, helping you learn how professional investors evaluate risk and opportunity. You will contribute to projects that support actual investment decisions and gain experience in understanding capital structures and credit risk.
What you'll do#
- Support the team in conducting fundamental credit research.
- Build and maintain financial models and credit monitoring tools.
- Research potential investment opportunities and present findings to the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned tasks and initiatives.
- Attend team meetings to understand the top-down macro investment process.
- Prepare presentations, summaries, and other materials.
- Seek feedback and guidance from mentors and team members.
- Participate in training sessions and networking opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program as a rising Junior graduating by summer 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Majors in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets and investments.
- Familiarity with Excel and financial statement analysis.
- High attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Experience with creative problem solving, analytical thinking, and prioritizing work.
- Experience gathering and interpreting market data.
- Prior internship in investment management is preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not provide employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
