About the role#
This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, running from June through August 2027. You will work with a team to gain practical experience in financial planning, investments, and field support. You will contribute to real projects and learn how Home Office teams support financial advisors in serving their clients.
What you'll do#
- Support the preparation of financial plans by gathering and entering client data.
- Review planning inputs and help develop materials for senior-team review.
- Assist with portfolio administration, investment research, reporting, and analysis.
- Prepare planning-related paperwork, proposals, and other materials for advisor and client needs.
- Contribute to projects across operations, business development, wealth management, and investment management.
- Participate in weekly financial advisor calls to learn how planning recommendations translate into field support.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, personal financial planning, economics, or a related field.
- Expected graduation in December 2027 or May 2028.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.
- Coursework or experience related to financial analysis, planning inputs, life insurance, investments, or economics.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer immigration sponsorship.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear communication skills.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of client financial information.

- Compensation: $16.50 to $30.00 per hour, determined by academic tenure and major.
