About the role#
The Future Leaders Program Finance Internship offers a summer experience designed to build technical skills and strategic thinking. Interns work on projects that focus on business improvement and efficiency. This role may lead to selection into a two-and-a-half-year development rotational program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Use financial principles to solve business problems.
- Perform forecasting, planning, and financial modeling related to income, profitability, liquidity, capital, leverage, asset and liability management, or operating expenses.
- Support the preparation of recurring or ad-hoc financial reports, analysis, and cost benefit analysis for management decision-making.
- Contribute to proactive analysis for efficient resource utilization.
- Identify and handle risks stemming from business activities to ensure they are measured, monitored, and controlled.
- Ensure all activities follow regulatory and compliance guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
- Expected graduation date after August 13, 2027.
- 0 to 2 years of related experience.
- Experience conducting financial or accounting research and producing reports.
- Effective written, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Microsoft Excel.
- Foundational knowledge of data analysis and technical accounting or finance competence.
- Preferred: Academic concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or Economics.
- Preferred: Graduation date in Spring 2028.
- Preferred: Prior relevant financial internship experience.
- Preferred: Experience with financial statements, balance sheets, or Excel.
