About the role#
University Enterprises, Inc. is hiring two Student Assistants to join the Enterprise Technology Solutions team in West Sacramento. You will work under the supervision of an IT Supervisor to manage hardware and assist with technical support. This is a part-time, temporary position that offers a flexible schedule between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
What you'll do#
- Image, configure, and deploy laptop and desktop PCs.
- Collect IT equipment from various divisions and offices.
- Enter data into the ServiceNow IT asset management database.
- Manage the intake and disposal of IT hardware.
- Provide support to Help Desk customers as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student at an accredited institution.
- A declared major in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Proficiency in Windows administration.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Previous experience in an IT role or practical knowledge of IT practices.
- Ability to transport hardware weighing up to 40 pounds using a handcart.

- Location: West Sacramento, California.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $18.27 to $23.89 per hour.
- Schedule: Up to 24 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during breaks.
