About the role#
As a PMO Tools Administrator intern, you will support the IT Value Management Office by administering the systems used to plan, track, and govern technology investments. You will work alongside IT leaders and business stakeholders to maintain the infrastructure that supports project delivery.
What you'll do#
- Administer and configure PMO tools, specifically Clarity PPM and Jira, including user provisioning, workflow configuration, and reporting setup.
- Act as a primary point of contact for end-user support, troubleshooting issues and fulfilling configuration requests.
- Coordinate with external tool vendors to escalate support tickets and manage product updates.
- Support data quality initiatives by auditing project records and resource allocations to improve reporting accuracy.
- Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials for PMO tools.
- Assist the team with portfolio reporting cycles to aggregate and validate data for leadership communications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master's degree program in Information Systems, MIS/BIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Business Administration with an IT or systems focus.
- Demonstrated understanding of project management concepts, including Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple support requests.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to data accuracy.
