About the role#
As a PMO Tools Administrator intern, you will support the IT Value Management Office by administering the systems used to plan, track, and govern technology investments. You will work alongside IT leaders and business stakeholders to ensure our project management tools function effectively.
What you'll do#
- Administer and configure PMO tooling, primarily Clarity PPM and Jira, including user provisioning and workflow configuration.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for end-user support, troubleshooting issues and fulfilling configuration requests.
- Liaise with external tool vendors to escalate support tickets, coordinate product updates, and document resolutions.
- Assist with data quality initiatives by auditing project records and resource allocations to improve reporting accuracy.
- Support the PMO team's portfolio reporting cycles by aggregating and validating data for executive communications.
- Contribute to documentation and training materials, including user guides and process runbooks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a master's degree in Information Systems, MIS/BIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Business Administration with an IT/systems focus.
- Demonstrated understanding of project management concepts, such as Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to data accuracy and process discipline.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple support requests.
