About the role#
The Analytics Intern supports the Warehousing Analytics team in developing data, automation, and AI-enabled solutions for logistics and warehouse operations. This role focuses on hands-on experience through rapid prototyping, AI-assisted development, and building lightweight applications to solve real business problems. You will work with warehouse data across areas such as labor, inventory, throughput, and cost while partnering with engineers and business users to address operational requirements.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, research, and documentation.
- Apply rapid prototyping techniques to turn business ideas into working proofs of concept.
- Develop lightweight web applications and user-facing analytical solutions.
- Perform SQL development, data validation, exploratory analysis, and basic data modeling.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive reporting or administrative processes.
- Complete an end-to-end internship project and present your results to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program with at least one year of school remaining.
- Pursuing a major in Data Science, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Curiosity and a willingness to experiment with new technologies to build practical solutions.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time, rolling internship.
- The role is based on-site at the Tyson Foods headquarters in Springdale, Arkansas.
- You must live within a 50-mile commutable range of the office year-round.
