About the role#
The Analytics Intern supports the Warehousing Analytics team by building data, automation, and AI solutions for logistics and warehouse operations. This role focuses on hands-on experimentation, rapid prototyping, and developing tools to solve business problems. You will work with data across labor, inventory, service, throughput, and maintenance to drive operational efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools.
- Use AI-assisted coding and rapid prototyping to turn business ideas into working proofs of concept.
- Perform SQL development, data validation, exploratory analysis, and data modeling.
- Identify and implement ways to automate repetitive reporting and administrative tasks.
- Assist in developing lightweight web applications and user-facing analytical solutions.
- Partner with analysts, engineers, and business users to document solutions and business requirements.
- Complete an end-to-end internship project and present your results to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Data Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or a related major.
- At least one year of school remaining.
- Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Curiosity and a willingness to experiment with new technologies.
- Ability to work in an office environment and travel locally to plants or distribution centers as needed.

- This is a rolling, full-time, paid internship.
- The position is based on-site at the Tyson Foods headquarters in Springdale, Arkansas.
- You must live within 50 miles of the office to be considered.
