About the role#
This paid, full-time summer internship offers hands-on experience in poultry production and live operations. Interns gain exposure to the various stages of the production process, as well as critical support departments including Safety and Quality Assurance. Successful performance may lead to opportunities for full-time employment with the Cobb team.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through various poultry production and live operations roles to understand the full production cycle.
- Engage with operation support teams to learn about Safety and Quality Assurance protocols.
- Contribute to operational success through value creation and the development of innovative ideas.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to solve problems and manage tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program with at least one semester of coursework remaining.
- Preference is given to students pursuing degrees in Agriculture, Poultry Operations, or related fields.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- A motivated, self-starting approach with a desire to learn from others.
- Strong interpersonal, time management, and multitasking abilities.

- Locations: Positions are available in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
- Priority: Candidates currently local to the designated areas will be given first consideration.
