About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship focused on poultry production and live operations. Interns gain hands-on experience across various parts of the production process and exposure to support departments like Safety and Quality Assurance. Successful performance may lead to opportunities for full-time employment as a Cobb Team Member. This role is on-site and requires a motivated individual to contribute through innovative ideas and value creation.
What you'll do#
- Work in various poultry production and live operations positions to understand the full production cycle.
- Engage with operation support teams, including Safety and Quality Assurance.
- Apply problem-solving, time management, and multitasking skills in a professional setting.
- Collaborate effectively both independently and as part of a team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program with at least one semester of school remaining.
- Preferred field of study in Agriculture, Poultry Operations, or related agricultural disciplines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to learn from others.
- A resume is required for consideration.
