About the role#
The Fleet Operations internship is a year-round position based in Springdale, Arkansas. You will gain hands-on experience in transportation management at one of the world's largest food companies. This role requires a commitment of 20 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week during the summer.
What you'll do#
- Work closely with the transportation management team to coordinate and optimize operations.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including driver logs, shipment details, and incident reports.
- Communicate with and support cross-functional leaders and drivers.
- Contribute to projects designed to develop critical skills and provide business insights.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior, senior, or MBA student with at least one year of school remaining.
- Preference for majors in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Logistics.
- Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask and act as a motivated self-starter.
- Availability to work weekends.
