About the role#
As a Supply Chain Intern, you will spend 10 to 12 weeks at our facility in Mount Olive, North Carolina. This role focuses on supporting our supply chain operations team, which manages logistics, distribution, and production planning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to projects that optimize our supply chain processes.
What you'll do#
- Support a plant production project focused on Management Excellence Systems (MES).
- Develop, refine, and execute models to create a product flow that meets demand.
- Assist with the design, documentation, implementation, and training of the S4 Hana system at one or more production sites.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2030.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
- Analytical and programming skills using Excel, Power Query, and Macros.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and pay close attention to detail.
- Knowledge of inventory, production, transportation, or material planning is preferred.
- A valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness and ability to travel to other locations as needed.

- Note: This position requires working in a manufacturing plant environment, which may include varying temperatures, noise levels, and the use of personal protective equipment. You may be required to stand, walk, or lift up to 50 pounds.
