About the role#
This is a full-time, 11-week summer internship based at our Collins plant in Mississippi. You will spend your time conducting an inventory compliance improvement study. The role requires collecting and interpreting data, forming hypotheses, and recommending long-term solutions. You will present your findings to peers, managers, and senior leaders.
What you'll do#
- Conduct an inventory compliance improvement study.
- Collect and interpret data to form hypotheses and propose solutions.
- Present your findings to various levels of leadership.
- Follow all departmental and company safety protocols.
- Wear required personal protective equipment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree program.
- Majors in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or other related fields.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours and occasionally travel overnight.
- A willingness to build relationships with mentors and peers.
- A resume is required for your application.
