About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based at our facility in Waco, Texas. You will work on-site for 11 weeks, from May 17 to July 30, 2027. The role focuses on an ergonomics improvement study within our plant operations.
What you'll do#
- Conduct an ergonomics improvement study by collecting and interpreting data.
- Form hypotheses based on your findings and recommend long-term solutions.
- Present your results to peers, managers, and senior leaders.
- Follow all departmental and company safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Manage multiple tasks and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Work non-standard hours as needed for data collection, which may include occasional overnight travel.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree program.
- Academic background in Occupational Safety, Ergonomics, Human Factors, Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Economics, Poultry Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with an organized approach to work.
- Ability to build professional relationships and manage multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail.
- A resume is required for your application.
