About the role#
This is an 11-week internship focused on a packaging waste study at our St. Pauls, North Carolina plant. You will gain hands-on experience in food and beverage manufacturing while working on a specific project to improve our operations. The program runs from May 17 to July 30, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collect and interpret data related to packaging waste.
- Form hypotheses and recommend long-term solutions based on your analysis.
- Present your findings to peers, managers, and senior leaders.
- Participate in skill development and building workshops.
- Engage with company leadership.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree program.
- Majors in Agriculture, Accounting, Business Administration, or other fields are welcome.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and a self-motivated approach.
- Willingness to build professional relationships.
- Ability to follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours for data collection, with occasional overnight travel as needed.
