About the role#
This internship offers an 11-week immersive experience in the food and beverage manufacturing industry. You will work on-site at our Dothan, Alabama facility during the summer of 2027. The program focuses on hands-on project experience, professional development, and engagement with company leadership.
What you'll do#
Your primary project involves conducting an operations efficiency study within our Value Added Processing Department. You will collect and interpret data, form hypotheses, and recommend long-term solutions based on your findings. You will also present these findings to peers, managers, and senior leaders. You may be assigned additional duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree program.
- Academic background in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Economics, Food Science, Agriculture, or a business-related field.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, organized, and willing to build professional relationships.
- Ability to work non-standard hours and follow all safety protocols, including wearing required PPE.
- A resume is required for your application.
