About the role#
Eggs Unlimited is seeking a Logistics Intern to support our freight operations in Irvine. This role offers hands-on experience in coordinating truck shipments and managing logistics data. You will work with our team to ensure the timely movement of goods across the country. This position is paid at $25.00 per hour and offers a flexible schedule of 15 to 40 hours per week. There is potential for a full-time role based on performance.
What you'll do#
- Book trucks and coordinate shipments with carriers.
- Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any delays.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping documentation, schedules, and carrier information.
- Input and manage logistics data in transportation management systems.
- Communicate regularly with carriers and internal teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort with data entry.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- An interest in the food distribution and transportation industry.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
