About the role#
Eggs Unlimited is seeking a Purchasing Intern to support our procurement operations in Irvine. This role provides hands-on experience in purchasing documentation and vendor communication. You will work directly with our team to manage daily procurement tasks and assist with special projects.
What you'll do#
- Document purchasing activities and assist the team with daily operations.
- Enter purchase orders, update supplier data, and process sales confirmations.
- Maintain accurate records for the department.
- Communicate with carriers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Support management with special projects and reports.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data entry.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- An interest in the food distribution and transportation industry.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Irvine, California.
- The role is paid at $25.00 per hour.
- We offer a flexible schedule between 15 and 40 hours per week.
