About the role#
The Transportation Logistics Analyst Intern will work with the Supply Chain Logistics team to support daily truck and rail operations. This role offers a look at logistics within a large manufacturing company and provides hands-on experience through a logistics procurement project.
What you'll do#
- Support daily truck and rail operations, including scheduling, tracking, and communication.
- Assist with a logistics procurement project.
- Analyze transportation data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with carriers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a relevant Bachelor's program at an accredited college or university.
- Previous experience or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment.

- Location: Decatur, Illinois.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full time, paid position ($22.00/hr plus overtime).
- Additional benefits: Housing stipend ranging from $1,500 to $3,000 based on location and candidate circumstances.
