About the role#
The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Intern will gain practical, in-the-field experience by supporting the EHS department at our Loudon facility. This role is essential for maintaining a safe and compliant working environment. You will apply your academic knowledge to real-world scenarios within a manufacturing setting.
What you'll do#
- Conduct a comprehensive noise mapping project of the Loudon facility.
- Verify and update required safety and informational signage using EHS technical knowledge.
- Assist with various EHS-related tasks and inspections as needed.
- Collaborate with EHS professionals to understand and implement safety protocols.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a relevant Bachelor's program at an accredited college or university.
- Basic technical knowledge of health, safety, and environmental principles.
- Strong attention to detail and an interest in safety regulations.
- A willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Ability to work in an industrial, on-site environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Loudon, Tennessee.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Pay: $23.00 per hour, plus overtime.
- Housing: A stipend of $1,500 to $3,000 is provided, depending on work and candidate location.
