About the role#
This internship offers a 10 to 12 week program during the summer of 2027. You will work on-site at a feed mill to learn how feed is manufactured and delivered for turkey production. The program focuses on professional development and project work within the manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Learn the day to day operations of a feed mill, including feed manufacturing and ingredient management.
- Partner with mill leaders and team members to support production, maintenance, and safety initiatives.
- Assist with projects focused on process improvement, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Analyze operational data and present project findings and recommendations to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agribusiness, Agronomy, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a feed mill environment, which includes exposure to dust, varying temperatures, noise, and heights.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

- Locations: Ozark, Arkansas; Yellville, Arkansas; or Columbus, Kansas.
- This is a paid, full time internship.
- Work is performed in manufacturing plant environments where you must wear personal protective equipment. Travel is required.
