About the role#
This is a full-time, paid summer internship for law students. You will work with Travelers Staff Counsel attorneys, support staff, and business partners to gain hands-on experience in the insurance legal field. The position runs for ten to twelve weeks between June 2027 and August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legal research and prepare discovery documents.
- Draft motions and legal briefs.
- Observe proceedings in various courts.
- Attend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Receive mentoring and feedback on your assignments.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently enrolled in an accredited law school.
- You must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship.

- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
