About the role#
Richmond National is seeking a Legal Intern for a 10-week program during the summer of 2027. This role is based on-site in Glen Allen, Virginia. You will work with our corporate legal team to gain experience in the day-to-day operations of an insurance carrier. We will work with you to tailor your tasks based on your specific areas of interest within the legal field.
What you'll do#
- Assist with corporate governance matters.
- Handle regulatory and governmental filings.
- Support the team with compliance and cybersecurity projects.
- Review various contracts and agreements.
- Help with product development, including the review and drafting of insurance policy forms.
What you'll need#
- You must be a 1L or 2L law student.
- A demonstrated interest in corporate law or the insurance industry.

- Location: Glen Allen, Virginia (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2027 (10 weeks beginning June 2027).
- Employment type: Full-time, paid internship.
