About the role#
Travelers is hiring a Legal Intern for a full-time summer internship. This position offers law students hands-on exposure to legal work within the insurance industry. You will work on-site in Walnut Creek, California, for a ten to twelve week period between June 2027 and August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legal research and prepare discovery materials.
- Draft briefs and motions.
- Observe proceedings in various courts.
- Attend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials or hearings.
- Work alongside Travelers Staff Counsel attorneys, support staff, and business partners.
- Receive feedback on your assignments throughout the summer.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited law school.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
