About the role#
The Churchill Summer Internship in Tax offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial services. You will work directly with tax professionals to support reporting, compliance, and data management for private funds. This is a full-time, paid internship scheduled for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Review annual tax workpapers prepared by external Big 4 vendors.
- Support the collection and organization of financial and tax data for reporting purposes.
- Assist with the preparation and review of tax compliance reporting, including Schedule K-1 for private funds.
- Review annual tax filings such as Forms 1065, 1120, and 1120-RIC.
- Perform reconciliations between accounting records and tax workpapers to ensure accuracy.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Accounting.
- Status as a rising Junior (Class of 2029) or rising Senior (Class of 2028).
- Superior skills in Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills.

- This position is based on-site in Charlotte, North Carolina.
- The role is a full-time commitment for Summer 2027.
- Compensation is $30.00 per hour.
