About the role#
Cerity Partners is hiring for a summer internship in Louisville, Kentucky. This is a paid position for the summer of 2027. You will work 30 to 40 hours per week in an on-site environment. This role provides exposure to the financial industry and the opportunity to work with our corporate accounting team.
What you'll do#
- Assist account leads with the accounting process.
- Perform batch accounting for accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Process and post transactions and journal entries.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements.
- Gain experience with accounting processes across multiple industries.
- Shadow and participate in client presentations.
- Work with a team virtually to develop a financial planning project.
- Attend employee social and volunteer events.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited university.
- A minimum 3.2 GPA.
- A major in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Active participation in campus organizations, ideally in a leadership role, or professional work experience.
- Alignment with Cerity Partners' mission and core values.
