About the role#
Cerity Partners is seeking an Investment Analyst Intern for the summer of 2027. You will join the Investment Solutions team and report to analysts and portfolio managers. This role offers exposure to the institutional investment marketplace and multi-asset class portfolio management. This is a full-time, paid internship requiring 40 hours per week of on-site work.
What you'll do#
- Support the investment team with portfolio monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
- Attend external manager meetings and calls, compiling notes for the team.
- Maintain and update investment databases, models, and spreadsheets.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative reviews of prospective and existing external managers.
- Perform research on capital markets and asset classes.
- Write clear reports detailing your analysis.
- Prepare information and analysis for the Chief Investment Officer and Lead Portfolio Managers.
- Collaborate with a team to complete a financial planning or investment research project.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Finance or a similar field.
- A strong academic record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Bloomberg.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Effective presentation and communication skills.
- An interest in portfolio management and capital markets.
- The ability to work independently.

- This internship is located on-site in Austin, Texas or Denver, Colorado.
- The program takes place during the summer of 2027.
